Applied Vacuum Technology is now Anderson Dahlen – Applied Vacuum Division
Applied Vacuum Technology was acquired by Anderson Dahlen in 2013. Since then we have operated as an independent company with some shared resources and management. We have also developed a vacuum team to take on larger scale vacuum projects at Anderson Dahlen’s facility in Ramsey, MN. In fact, many of our customers do business with both locations and companies.
To better support all customers and efficiently manage all vacuum business, we intend to consolidate AVT.
The facility in Waconia will continue to focus on custom UHV products, and in fact we are expanding capabilities to take on XHV applications and clean-room assembly. There will also be an expanded vacuum team and new dedicated manufacturing space in Ramsey. These resources will be consolidated into the ‘Applied Vacuum Division’.
Improved Services, Additional Resources and Expanded Capabilities
This consolidation provides a number of advantages to our vacuum customers, including direct access to all engineering & manufacturing resources and ability to cover all requirements from a single company. Combined ERP functions will allow more efficient management of accounting functions. We look forward to discussing any question or concerns about this transition, and want to assure you that it will be as seamless as possible for all customers and provide a stronger and more capable organization to support your business going forward.
Please continue to handle communications and business with us as you have been. You may notice some subtle changes in email signatures, our web site, and other marketing. But no action is required on your part at this time. All open quotes and sales orders will be managed as they exist now. We will be sending some specific changes for accounting and order processing in the near future. And we will be certain that every inquiry, quote, order, shipment and invoice is handled without disruption.
