Field Installation

The Skid systems combine multiple pieces of equipment into a compact, efficient package complete with interconnecting piping and wiring. These packaged systems include the process, CIP and utility piping preassembled. The valves and instrumentation are all mounted, wired and tested prior to shipment. The finished system results in a dramatically reduced installation time. The control systems associated with these packaged systems can be fully programmed and test run prior to shipment. By designing and building these systems in our shop we are able to decrease the installation cost and provide a totally integrated solution.

Communication plays an integral part in addressing your requirements. Our Design Engineers will provide ingenious and expert solutions to meet your needs by taking your ideas and combining them with their experience in using state-of-the-art techniques. We offer Engineering and CAD services that include on-site consultation and the design, manufacture and testing of prototypes, providing turnkey solutions for our customers.

Our engineers will work with you to evaluate your process and determine which aspects of your process could benefit from using a packaged solution. The next step is the development of the Process Flow Diagram (PFD) to accurately describe the flow of materials through the system. The Process and instrumentation diagram (P & ID) is then developed to map out the control strategy and indicate all the control points within the system. The individual process equipment can then be specified and the control logic developed. Our engineers will work with you to ensure a seamless transition from the packaged system to the rest of your processing equipment. The components of the system are then mounted on support frames and the interconnecting piping can be connected. The instrumentation is installed and the devices are wired to the control panel in our shop. Finally, the system is powered up and the devices are dry-tested. Next, the system may be wet-tested for final acceptance prior to shipment.

Throughout the process of constructing your packed solution we take special care to design the system for functionality, operability, cleanability and maintainability. By optimizing these four functions, we can provide a system that will give you a maximum payback on your investment. All systems include operations and maintenance manuals and start-up assistance is available.
