High and Ultra High Vacuum Flanges and Components – Stock and Custom Solutions
Flanges and components are a critical part of any high vacuum or ultra-high vacuum system. Standard components are convenient, but are not always the optimum solution. When standard parts are not sufficient, or when a custom component offers improved value and performance; Applied Vacuum Technology has the engineering and manufacturing capabilities to produce the ideal product to meet your requirements.
Our Applied Vacuum Division produces custom flanges, fittings and related components with extreme precision, fast deliveries, and competitive pricing. We provide the very best value and response for quick turn custom vacuum components in our industry.
Our CNC turning centers range to 55” diameter, and our 4-axis CNC mills have up to 30” by 60” table travel. We are able to produce sizeable and complex components, as well as small flanges with precise detail. Round, rectangular, or irregular… conflat, metal gasket, or o-ring sealed… AVT makes them all.
High quality steel is of critical importance for vacuum components, especially when a flange requires welding, brazing or high bake-out temperatures; which is why AVT only stocks the highest quality 304L and 316L stainless steel material. We are able to provide material certifications for all jobs.
Our Applied Vacuum Division stocks 316LN-ESR stainless steel in bar stock and standard CF flanges to 6 inch diameter. Larger CF sizes, other flange types, or custom components are quoted by request. 316LN-ESR material is produced using an electro-slag refinement process which offers improved purity, homogeneity and corrosion resistance compared to typical 304/316 stainless steels.
